Qualley Lecture Series

Each year the Classics Department sponsors a distinguished lecturer in our Qualley Lecture series. All talks are free and open to the entire community.

2008—Prof. Joseph Rife of Macalestar College on "Life and Death at a Roman Cemetery in Greece"

2007—Prof. Chris Renaud of Carthage College on "Houses of the Rich and Famous: Luxury Villas near Rome"

2006—Prof. Susan Allen of Smith College on "Finding the Walls of Troy"

2005— Prof. Christopher Snyder of Marymount University presented a talk on the fall of Roman Britain and the rise of the King Arthur legend.
